NIOS 2026 Exam Cycle: Key Dates at a Glance

The NIOS academic year runs on two public-exam blocks (April–May and October–November), continuous On-Demand Exam windows, and two admission blocks.

For the 2026 cycle, theory exams are scheduled in April–May, with hall tickets released in March–April on the student portal. TMA deadlines fall in late February. Admission Block 1 typically opens in mid-March and closes by the end of July, with Block 2 opening in September.
