NIOS Date Sheet 2026: Class 10 & 12 Exam Dates

NIOS runs two public examination blocks each year — one around April–May and one around October–November — plus continuous On-Demand Examinations. The official date sheet for each block is published on the NIOS website and the student portal before the exams.

How to find and read your date sheet

  1. Open the official date sheet — Check the "What's New" / examination section on the NIOS website and the sdmis student portal when the block approaches.
  2. Note theory vs practical dates — Practical exams are usually scheduled separately, often just before the theory exams. Confirm both for each of your subjects.
  3. Cross-check your hall ticket — Your admit card carries your exact centre, dates and timings — treat it as the final word once released.

2026 cycle (indicative): For the 2026 April block, theory exams were scheduled in the April–May window. Exact dates change every cycle — confirm the current date sheet on the official portal before planning.
